Frédéric joined Advent in 2001 and focuses on global investment opportunities in mobile, consumer internet and software.
While at Advent he has led or co-led investments in Vitrue (acquired by Oracle), Farfetch, Zong (sold to eBay), Echovox, Qype, Fizzback (acquired by NICE Systems), Ubiquisys and Dailymotion. He was closely involved in Advent's growth equity investments in Snell and Cartesis.
Frédéric previously worked for Societe General in Milan and Lazard in London, Milan and New York. He co-founded Lazard's Telecommunications and Technology team in London and was involved in transactions worth over $100bn. In 1999, Frédéric co-founded Etexx in France, a VC-backed online marketplace and collaboration platform for the global textile industry.
He currently sits on the board of several companies including FarFetch, Qype, Ever Team and Echovox.
A graduate of ESSEC and Bocconi University in Milan, Frederic is fluent in French, Italian and Spanish.
